Hi, guys - Happy Monday! Tonight I have a really simple striping tape manicure to share with you.
For the base color, I used OPI This Gown Needs a Crown. When that was completely dry, I placed my striping tape and applied a coat of China Glaze Rendezvous With You. I really love how this turned out!
I'm still getting the hang of using striping tape, so I kept things really simple this go around. I didn't even notice the slight boo boo on my middle finger until I looked at my photos - ah, the camera...it misses nothing, lol. Overall I am pleased with the crispness of the stripes, though, and I definitely plan to use striping tape more in future manis.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful week!

Merry Christmas!
Hi, everyone - Merry Christmas!!! Just a quick post today to share my Christmas mani with you.
The base color I used is Wet n Wild Megalast Break the Ice - such a pretty and shimmery white, and the glitter is China Glaze Party Hearty. I was lucky to find this at a reasonable price on ebay about a month or so ago - it's just the perfect Christmas glitter!
This mani was inspired by the pretty glitter gradients done by both Glitter & Nails and The Nail Network. I was a little heavy handed with the glitter, though - hopefully with practice I will learn to lighten up in order to achieve a more delicate look. :)
The super adorable owl is from a set of waterslide transfers that I also found on ebay. These are so fun and really easy to apply!
I hope that everyone has a warm and wonderful holiday, filled with sparkle and good cheer! Thanks for reading!

A Little Bit About Me
Hi there and welcome to my blog! I'm Justina and I live in Colorado with my boyfriend, B, and our very spoiled, yet very adorable kitty. B and I have been together for about 10 years - we enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and just hanging out together with our kitty monster, enjoying a beverage and watching movies or TV.
This is actually my second attempt at nail blogging. I love everything about nail polish, nail art, and doing my nails. This past year I discovered nail blogs and I am always reading them and admiring everyone's work! I was a little disappointed, however, in my own efforts to take decent pictures and write interesting blog posts. So sadly, out of frustration, I deleted my initial blog. Ultimately, I found that I was still proud of my nails and my work, and that I really missed sharing this with everyone. With much encouragement from B, I am trying again! With the help of some good tips and advice from many bloggers our there I hope that my own blogging will continue to improve and that I won't experience the same frustrations as before.
With that, I look forward to once again being a part of the blogging community and sharing with you all - thanks for reading!
