NAILLINKUP - Oh Christmas Tree

Hi, guys and Merry Christmas! Today I have another Nail Art Ideas Linkup (N.A.I.L.) mani and the theme is Oh Christmas Tree!

My inspiration was this mani by Marine of Marine Loves Polish. Her nail art is always amazing and I love her black, white, and silver version of this!

On my index and pinky fingers I used OPI Red Fingers & Mistletoes. The glitter on my middle finger is Philly Loves Lacquer Tinsel: Not Just for Decoration. On my ring finger I applied Pahlish Ghost in my Lungs and then stamped with M Polish Bells using the abstract Christmas tree image from the Cheeky Happy Holidays plate.

I'm somewhat bummed with the stamping because you can't really see it that well, but I'm really happy with the combination of colors and the overall holiday look and feel that this has.

One last slightly blurry picture because I really, really love this glitter.  :)

Thanks a lot for looking and I hope you have a very happy holiday! Please be sure to check out the other Christmas Tree manis, too!

NAILLINKUP - Let it Sparkle!

Hi, guys! Today I have another mani for one of this month's Nail Art Ideas Linkup (N.A.I.L.) themes - Let it Sparkle!

For this mani, I was really excited to use Ever After Polish Twinkle All the Way. I wore it by itself on my middle and ring fingers, and I applied one pretty generous coat (because I wanted to get some of those larger red glitters) over Scofflaw Nail Varnish Coniferous on my index and pinky.

I really loved wearing this mani throughout the week. It's pretty simple, but it felt very Christmas-y and very sparkly!

Thanks so much for looking! Be sure to check out the other sparkly manis, too!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters

Hi, guys! Quick post tonight of my Ugly Christmas Sweater nails.

My base polish is Stardust Polish Yes Your Majesty. I stamped with Rica Whiteout using different images from the one and only MoYou Festive Collection 06 plate. Both of these polishes were amazing to work with and I am really happy with the final look. The only challenge was getting these little suckers straight and not looking too terribly wonky!

NAILLINKUP - Pink Christmas

Hi, guys! Nail Art Ideas Linkup (N.A.I.L.) is back - YAY!!! The first theme for December is Pink Christmas.

I chose to do a delicate snowflake mani using piCture pOlish Bardot for my base. I stamped with China Glaze Check Out the Silver Fox using an image from the Cheeky Happy Holidays plate. I'm so happy with how these turned out!

I can't wait for the rest of this month's themes. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the other Pink Christmas manis, too!

Autumn Leaves Stamping

Hi, guys! Another quick post from me today with a recent stamping mani that I did. I just had to do some fall leaves before the end of the season!  :)

For my base color I applied Duh Nail Polish Leaves Dancing in the Breeze. I just love this polish! No problem getting the right assortment of glitters on the nail and it has such a pretty shimmer. I'm also a complete sucker for square glitters! I stamped with Barry M Foil Effects Gold using an image from plate MJ XLV, available from My Online Shop.

Thanks a lot for reading. As Bill Belichick would say - we're on to winter!

Fall Glitter Gradient

Hi, guys! I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving here in the US. We enjoyed the holiday with some good friends and definitely ate (and drank) too much!

For my Thanksgiving mani I did a fall glitter gradient using Nine Zero Lacquer Pumpkin Everything as my base color. I then applied Girlosity Cosmetics Turning Leaves at my cuticles for the gradient. I absolutely loved both polishes and I thought they worked very well in this combination.

Thanks so much for looking!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Black & White

Hi, guys! This weeks prompt for the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge is Black & White and my assigned pattern prompt this time around was stamping.

I struggled so hard with this mani - I think I'm just really out of practice with stamping. This was my third attempt and I finally called it good. I started with a base of Sinful Colors Whiteboard. Then I stamped an image from plate Pueen49 using black stamping polish from Born Pretty.

Overall I think it looks pretty cool - I really love the simplicity of black & white nails.

Thanks so much for looking and be sure to check out all of the other black & white manis, too!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Halloween

Hi, guys! This week's 40 Great Nail Art Ideas theme is of course -- Halloween!

My base color is Contrary Polish Snowy Night - a really pretty navy blue with white flakies. I completed my mani using some cool graveyard stencils from What's Up Nails and Sally Hansen Insta-dri Black to Black. These stencils were so super easy to use - my best experience with stencils so far! Unfortunately, I think the blue and the black are too dark together and this would have looked much better had I used a lighter base color. Oh well, next time!  :)

Thanks for looking and be sure to check out everyone else's Halloween manis, too!

Jack O'Lanterns

Hi, guys! I have a quick post today of a Halloween mani that I've been wearing for most of the week.

The polish is Stardust Polish Indian Summer. The jack o'lantern faces are water slide decals that I purchased off of eBay. Totally simple and lots of fun!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

CDB Lacquer Spooktacular

Hi, guys! It's officially Halloween week here on the blog and I will be posting Halloween manis throughout the week. I'm starting off with a quick swatch of what I wore over the weekend.

This is CDB Lacquer Spooktacular and I love it! It's basically Halloween in a bottle. The shade of orange is just perfect, and there are tons of little glitters to complete the look. It's such a fun polish and I really enjoyed wearing it to a fall barbecue that we went to yesterday.

Thanks for looking and have a great week!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Orange, Purple, and Green

Hi, guys! We are into week four of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge and this week's prompt is Orange, Purple, and Green. As it is a color prompt, we are also incorporating our assigned pattern into our nail art. My pattern for the week is squares!

I started with a white base using Sinful Colors Whiteboard. I then used the large diamond Stuck on Love Nail Shields from Love, Angeline and painted in the squares using Vapid Lacquer Peach Ring, Lollipop, and Rock Candy.

I had such fun with these and I was really happy with the finished look! Be sure to check out what everyone else did the week, too!

Stardust Polish Check Your Boobs!

Hi, guys! It was wear pink for breast cancer awareness at work today, so I did this mani in support.

This is Stardust Polish Check Your Boobs! This was a limited edition charity polish and it's pretty awesome.

Thanks for stopping by!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Geeks

Hi, guys! This is week three of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge and our theme is Geeks! What better inspiration than the socially awkward science guys from "The Big Bang Theory"?

For my base color I went with the theme and used Powder Perfect Unobtanium. I then applied these cute water slide nail decals from Green Goddess Creations. They came with excellent instructions and were really easy to apply.

Social protocol dictates that you check out the other geek manis, too!

Double Side Dots

Hi, guys! I have a quick mani to share with you tonight that was inspired by @mcpolish - double side dots!

The polishes I used are Girly Bits Downtown Funk and The Shaft. I'm resisting the urge to set up a really bad "that's what she said" joke here...but seriously, how gorgeous are these two shades?

Thanks for looking!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Teal

Hi, guys! Today is the second week of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge and the first of our color prompts - teal. But, there's a twist! Each of us also has our own assigned pattern, so we are all doing something different! This week my pattern prompt was sponging.

For my base color I applied Bliss Polish Boom Clap. Then I tore off little pieces of a makeup wedge and dabbed on Bliss Polish She's A Winner. I think the overall effect ended up a bit on the subtle side, but I liked catching the little pops of gold on the vibrant teal at certain angles.

Thanks for reading and be sure to check out what everyone else did this week, too!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Hobbies

Hi, guys! I am participating in a new Crumpet's Nail Tarts challenge that begins today and we'll be posting every Friday for the next year. Our first prompt is Hobbies!

Something I've really enjoyed doing since oh, about as long as I can remember is cross stitch. My mom was very crafty and cross stitch is something I picked up from her when I was a little girl.

For my base I applied Glitter Gal Nuddy Nude. I then "stitched" some x's on each nail using Glitter Gal Mozzie Bite. They're definitely not perfect, but that's what makes crafting so special!

This is a fun little project that I did years ago - appropriate for the season!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to take a look at the other challenge manis, too!

Stardust Polish E.T. Phone Gnome

Hi, guys! I have a quick mani to show you today. This is Stardust Polish E.T. Phone Gnome from the September G.N.O.M.E. Box.

I did a simple accent nail with the Fair Maiden Polish HHC Lanikai Sunrise using the nail vinyls by Rica that came with this month's box. This is definitely one of my favorite color combinations - I love how the two compliment each other!

Thanks for reading and have a great week!

Last Mani of the Summer

Hi, guys! It's been a long time since I've posted and a lot has happened in the past year! I got married, we sold our house, we bought a new house, and I started a new job (not necessarily in that order). There have been plenty of other things, too, but those are definitely the highlights!

Now that things are kind of settling down, I am really excited to get back into some nail art. Tomorrow is the first day of fall, so today I have my last summer mani to show you.

This is Girly Bits Seaspark. It's a lovely seafoam green holo with tiny purple glitters. I stamped a couple of accent nails with the starfish image from Bundle Monster plate BM-503 using A England Excalibur. It's been well over a year since I've done any stamping and I was thrilled that my new Creative Shop stamper worked like a champ right out of the package!

I really enjoyed this manicure, but I'm also looking forward to getting some fall colors on my nails. Thanks so much for reading and see you soon!
