Monday Blues - Colors by Llarowe Wind Beneath My Wings

Hi, guys - Happy Mondayyyy! We are still enjoying some cold and dreary weather here in Colorado, but I am not going to let it get me down - especially when I have a stunning polish to show you for today's Monday Blues!

This is Colors by Llarowe Wind Beneath My Wings. This polish was part of a recent collection of charity polishes - the proceeds from the sales of this particular polish went to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Wind Beneath My Wings is a gorgeous medium denim blue with a touch of holo and an amazing copper shimmer.

I just had to have this polish - and I mean had to have it. Like, in an I-seriously-questioned-my-sanity kind of way. Llarowe launches/restocks can be kind of crazy, but this one took the cake. I was at my computer at exactly 15 minutes prior to go time, and was promptly placed in the "queue" at the top of the hour. About 7 minutes later I was allowed into the website for my turn, only to find that Wind Beneath My Wings was reserved! I hit refresh for nearly an hour - an HOUR - but I couldn't give up while there was still a chance! My bf even created an account on llarowe.com in an effort to help snag one for me (talk about true love), and finally, victory was mine!

Was it worth it? Absolutely. Do I still question my sanity? Every day, people...every day.  :)

You can check out Colors by Llarowe online at llarowe.com, or on Facebook. For restock/launch info, you can stay up to date via Llarowe's Facebook page (or have your bf create an account on llarowe.com and he can let you know, too!).

Thanks for reading and be sure to check out the other Monday Blues manis, too!

  1. beautiful polish! this is the main reason why I have so few indies though... i don't want to fight to buy them especially if it means waking up early on the weekend (i'm on the west coast so when the sale is in eastern time it can be a bit too early for the weekend!) it's sweet that your boyfriend helped you out though! sometimes i get my boyfriend to cut striping tape for me when I run out and i'm on the last few nails and don't want to mess up the other nails that are still wet lol :)

    1. Thanks, Stephanie! The drama and hassle can be a total turnoff when it comes to some Indie polishes for sure. I often get my bf to open things for me when my nails are still wet, lol! :)
