Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Jewel Tones

Hi, everyone! Missy over at Gnarly Gnails has put together a really cool nail art challenge for the month of February! There is a different theme for each day, but because I don't post that frequently I'm hoping to pop in for one or two of the themes each week.

Today is Day 2 of the challenge and the theme is Jewel Tones.

I started with a base of OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby. Then I followed this dry brush tutorial by Emily over at The Lacquerologist using Essie Wrapped in Rubies, Essie Trophy Wife, and China Glaze Rendezvous With You.

I really love the "grunginess" of this. Not only is this technique super fun, you basically can't mess it up!

Thanks for reading! Be sure the check out the other challenge manis below, too!

  1. I love these! The technique is grungy but then the colors you chose offset the grungy-ness I think :) it's chic and kind of grungy at the same time if that makes sense
